In Memory

This Monday June.02 my sweet baby kitty had to go for the big sleep. She was still relatively young at 12 years 4 months and I didn't think this day would come so soon.

About a month ago we noticed she had some problems with her mouth as well as a big sore on her face. The situation just got worse from there and found out she had cancer, specifically salivary maxillary carcinoma, cancer of the saliva gland. It is a highly aggressive form of cancer which is why it went so fast. It is also extremely painful, and she had such difficulty eating, there really was only one thing we could do for her and that was to free her of it.

It was the longest and hardest month I've ever been through. I wasn't home when she "left", but I think that's probably for the best.....I'd probably be traumatized by the event I think.

We had a great 10 years with her. I am grateful......and all I can say is she was the best cat I ever had.

I'll miss you my little Number.
